Koy Koda doesn't fit the typical profile of a band set to take the music industry by storm. Veteran entrepreneurs all, each a producer in their own right, this group leans heavy on their life experience resulting in haunting melodies often cut with turntables, gritty analogue synth bass line hooks, driving beats, and poetic oft somber lyrics sung by the band's multiple vocalists whose voices play off one another with great contrast.

They successfully marry Electronica with Trip-Hop while not shying away from adding layers of acoustic instrumentation, a combo that can be attributed to their teenage years gorging on tracks from the likes of Radiohead, Massive Attack and DJ Shadow. Their debut EP strikes at both the hearts and minds of its listeners provoking thought and emotion simultaneously and unapologetically.
